Julie Dusold Culbertson

Julie Dusold Culbertson is a health policy and systems strategist working at the intersection of research, operations, and human-centered design. She serves as the Assistant Director of the University of Kansas Medical Center’s Data Coordinating and Operations Center, supporting multi-site clinical trials on the environmental drivers of pediatric health in rural and otherwise underserved communities.

With over 15 years of experience in healthcare program evaluation, project management, and research administration, Julie focuses on how policy shapes human health and behavior. Her work advances upstream approaches that align biological, social, and environmental factors to improve outcomes at both individual and population levels.

She leads a portfolio of social ventures that explore these ideas in practice, including Dusold Strategic, an integrative impact consultancy, and Allusio intentional jewelry designed to support emotional well-being.
