Biography —
Sabrina Wulff Pabilonia serves on the Care Board Advisory Board in her personal capacity. She is an economist at the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and an IZA Research Fellow. Concurrently, she holds the position of president at the Society of Government Economists, a role she will continue to fulfill through March 2024. Dr. Pabilonia earned her bachelor’s degree from Smith College and her Ph.D. in economics from the University of Washington. Her research pursuits encompass measuring the impact of remote work on time allocation, productivity, and income inequality; examining the effects of sick leave on time allocation and productivity; investigating how the pandemic influenced teenagers’ family and social interactions and well-being; and understanding the drivers of productivity dispersion across establishments within detailed industries. Her work has been published in leading economic journals such as the Journal of Human Resources, Canadian Journal of Economics, Small Business Economics, Economics of EducationReview, and Labour Economics.
